Baobá vs Liquid Sky - Poster Design
The main goal on this project was about to celebrate the exponents of Northeastern and African culture, combining elements that reflected the personality of both brands involved. Baobá's entire concept is based on African origins, and Liquid Soul brings all the cultural influence of the rich Brazilian Northeast. For this, the Woodcut aesthetic was chosen, very present in the cordel poetry movement, which is a great symbol of the Northeast, along with the tones that refer to the roots, the ground and the earth. The symbols seek to iconograph African and Northeastern cultural expressions and an intersection of both, as the African community present in Brazil since colonial times has developed several cultures already here on our soil, such as Capoeira and Feijoada. Personally, it is also a work that goes in line with our roots, which only increases the meaning and dedication.
